Yesterday I did my lap around the block wearing my minimalist shoes. Once again it really felt like a nothing run. Slight stiffness in my calves this morning, so I know it’s working. Stretched out good this morning and warmed up as usual before my run today. Pretty warm out, 75 or so, felt warm after the winter we’ve had here. 3.5 mile run including a couple good hills around Falls Park and my legs feel pretty darn good. Now I just need to keep building on this and working the mileage up each week and I think I should be alright.
10 miles this week, wow, sounds pathetic when you add it up. But, that’s ok. Rest day tomorrow and then back to it on Monday. I think something like 15 miles next week would be a reasonable goal.
